You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.

5. Contractor Ops Live Events
Registration and Payment
Paid event registration is governed by the specific terms presented at the time of purchase, including pricing, payment schedules, and any applicable discounts or early-bird rates. Those event-specific terms are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Refund Policy
Refund terms for paid event tickets are specified at the time of purchase. In general:
- Refund requests submitted more than 30 days before the event date may be eligible for a full refund.
- Refund requests submitted 8–30 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund or event credit.
- Refund requests submitted within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund but may be transferable to another attendee with written notice.
- We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events. In the event of a cancellation by us, registered attendees will receive a full refund or credit toward a future event.
Attendee Conduct
All event attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally. We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, offensive, or harmful to other attendees, without refund.
Photography and Recording
By attending a Contractor Ops Live event, you grant Semantic Mastery LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, videos, or audio recordings in which you appear for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify us in writing prior to the event.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on our Sites — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, reports, frameworks, methodologies, and the "Contractor Command OS" system concept — is the property of Semantic Mastery LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License for Personal Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Sites and download our free report for your own personal business use. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from our Sites
- Create derivative works based on our content without written permission

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our Sites ("Dispute"), the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the Dispute informally by contacting us at support@semanticmastery.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the Dispute within 30 days.
Arbitration
If a Dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Prince William County, Virginia. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDING WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Jurisdiction
For any claims not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Prince William County, Virginia.
